Quando falamos do Método PERT , devemos distinguir duas ferramentas: o Diagrama PERT , que é uma das formas de representar uma rede de atividades e a Estimativa PERT , ou método de estimação por três pontos, que é o método de estimação baseado na média ponderada de três estimativas (estimativa pessimista, estimativa mais provável, e estimativa otimista).
